The problem with big booking systems is that... they are most of the time unable to check the millions of accomodations they are advertising. It can help a lot of a booking system is “local”.
AGODA was estabilished in Thailand, and it mostly focuses on destinations in Asia. In spite of that, it is nowadays one of the world’s largest online reservation systems.
They have offices in most major locations of Thailand, so hotels are not able to upload false information about themselves. Local offices can take care of any complaints immediately.
Our partner contract enables us to deal with you accomodation “personally” even if it was booked online at our site.
Therefore, we recommend you: to select any accomodation you like the most, but before booking it please request information from us.

For most of our guests a holiday is a joyous experience... However, we have also heard some bitter words...
It’s not the same as on the website... Hotel websites are made not to preach eternal truths but to sell hotel rooms. As for high-end hotels, they carefully pay attention on what they post on the Internet and what customers will actually be able to find at their place are indeed the same. However, this is not always the case for lower-end accommodations. They cannot really help it, as the competition is very though here. Therefore, in case of seaside accomodations, we should always check what the “truth” is or at least consult with someone who has ever been to the place before.
Internationally polluted... No matter how good a hotel is, the common fact is that they all live from hospitality. Sometimes they can hardly resist temptation when they see hundreds of tourists at a time arriving at their place, from Russia, China or India. There is nothing wrong with that, apart from they tend to have different sociocultural habits than that of the visitors from Europe for example. Within their own community, everything is fine with that, but mixing them with other ethnicities is often not the best idea. Of course, they also complain about the behaviour most European guests as well. If you have ever had your breakfast next to cawing, munching and spitting far-eastern guests who praised the quality of their meal with a loud belsh..., If you have ever involuntarily participated in next room’s vodka party until dawn, instead of sleeping..., If you have ever enjoyed Indian children’s licentious rampage at the swimming pool while their parents were merrily stuffing themselves with food by their hands..., ...you should have quickly realized that your choice of accommodation was not a good one...
It’s alright, but the environment... It is not a good omen either, if right during your holiday, next to the normally perfect hotel, there is a big construction taking place. They usually work at night, as in the tropics men do not work in the extremely hot daytime. This situation is of course very noisy; and to be frank, the serenade of excavators to which the pile-drivers give the rythm is not the best lullaby...
The barrage... This is one of the most favourite tricks of cheap hotels all over the world, where rooms are sold online. The pitiful receptionist welcomes you on arrival, and sadly informs you about the unfortunate news that there are some problems with your booking: e.g. the previous guest in the room had some disease, and it takes time to decontaminate it, or the room is leaked and there are no other ones... However, for some extra fees of course, there are some better and more expensive rooms available elsewhere... and they are taking you there right away. In fact, the new place is always much further from the beach, and its quality is much poorer. This of course always results in more costs, inconveniences, and disappointment. This is how first-tier hotels usually scam their customers in order to be able to sell multiples of their full room capacity in each season.
